Akayra Digitech (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through akayradigitech.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws.
1. Who we are
Akayra Digitech is a digital marketing and design studio based in Gwalior, India. For the purposes of this policy, we are the “data fiduciary” responsible for your personal data. You can reach us any time using the details in section 11.
2. What we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and run this website:
- Information you give us — when you fill in our contact form: your name, email address, company, website, the services you’re interested in, your budget range and your message. If you call, email or WhatsApp us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to share.
- Information collected automatically — basic technical data such as your browser type, device, approximate location (city/country), pages visited and how you arrived at our site. This is collected through analytics tools described in section 4.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive information such as financial account details, government ID numbers or health information.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, schedule calls and prepare proposals.
- To provide services if you become a client, including communication, reporting and invoicing.
- To understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it.
- To keep our website secure and prevent spam or misuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We process your data on the basis of your consent (for example, when you submit the contact form) or where it is needed for a service you have requested. We do not sell your personal data, and we will not add you to marketing emails without your permission.
4. Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site — for example, which pages are popular and how long people stay. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information in aggregated form; it does not tell us who you are. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works normally without cookies.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only as much as they need:
- Netlify — hosts this website and processes contact-form submissions.
- Google — email (Gmail) and website analytics.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
Some of these providers may store data on servers outside India. Where that happens, we rely on their security and privacy commitments to protect your information. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up — generally no longer than 24 months if you don’t become a client. Client records are kept for the duration of our work together and afterwards as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
7. Security
Our website is served over encrypted HTTPS, and access to the accounts that hold your data is restricted and protected. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
8. Your rights
Under applicable law, you can:

- Ask us to correct, update or complete your data.
- Ask us to delete your data, or withdraw consent you’ve given.
- Raise a concern or grievance about how we’ve handled your data.

9. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has shared data with us, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
